Nescau Signs Up as Brazil World Cup FIFA 2014 Sponsor

Football fans around the world are already excited about the World Cup finals even if the games that are played are still qualifiers. To support the world Cup, sponsors are already pouring in and the latest to join in the sponsor lineup is the Brazilian brand Nescau. Becoming the fourth Brazil-based company to sign up as sponsor for the World Cup, Nescau is in league with national supporters Marfrig, Oi and Banco Itau.

As one of the supporters, Nescau will have extensive local marketing rights within Brazil for the FIFA World Cup 2014 as well as the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013.“Our sponsorship of the 2014 FIFA World Cup gives us the opportunity to get even closer to our fans and consumers. We are extremely proud to be supporting the biggest event in world football.”, said Ivan Zurita, President of Nestlé Brazil, Nescau’s parent company.

Thierry Weil, FIFA Marketing Director said,  “We are delighted to welcome Nescau as the latest member of FIFA’s sponsor family. The fact that so many Brazilian brands are committing to the event is great news for us and highlights the appeal of the event within the host nation. We’re looking forward to working with Nescau to ensure that both parties drive as much value as possible from this deal.”

Since Nescau will also have exclusivity within their product category, all of their products like their pre-package chocolate bars and ice creams will be available to fans in all stadiums where FIFA games will be held.
